It's more than just putting the ball in play - the serve
The serve is the only shot in the game that only you can influence. The following factors are important and can be changed when serving.
1_Ball throw and flight altitude
2_Meeting point and cut of the ball
3_Length/placement of the ball on the board
4_Position when serving
With these 4 options you can often influence where your opponent returns the serve and with what cut. Long pimples – Don’t panic, you just have to understand it!
Many people start to sweat when they see that their opponent comes with pimples. It’s not rocket science, you just have to understand what the knob actually does. In short, she simply reverses the cut of the ball. Concentrating on this reversal of the cut is therefore the most important thing. Here are a few tips on playing against long pimples.
1_Note: The long nub itself cannot create a cut. The pimple only takes over the cut you play!
2_So: If you give a cut, you get a cut!
